Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Bashir, upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D Burkett, the trainer of Movefasa Reg regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Movefasa Reg last raced on 25th February, 2016 and is returning to racing after a spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Smokey Whispers.
A pre-race sample was taken from Destini Firebird.
Smokey Whispers, Movefasa and Uno Whirl were slow to begin. Buckle Up Axel, Bashir, Dynamite Dixie, Movefasa Reg and Uno Whirl collided on the first turn checking Dynamite Dixie, Movefasa Reg and Uno Whirl. Movefasa Reg checked off Uno Whirl approaching the second turn. Uno Whirl checked off Smokey Whispers on the third turn. Uno Whirl and Bashir collided approaching the home turn checking Uno Whirl. Smokey Whispers and Bashir collided in the home straight checking Smokey Whispers. Dynamite Dixie lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.
Dynamite Dixie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
