Steward's Report
Lord Somersby was quick to begin. Renajohn and Aston Park were slow to begin. Photo Bomber, Hyundai Hawk and Poppy Jay collided soon after the start. Hyundai Hawk and Poppy Jay collided approaching the first turn checking Poppy Jay. Photo Bomber and Poppy Jay collided approaching the first turn checking Poppy Jay, Dusty Sky and Aston park. Renajohn and Photo Bomber collided on the first turn. Lord Somersby and Hyundai Hawk collided approaching the second turn checking Hyundai Hawk. Photo Bomber and Hyundai Hawk collided in the back straight checking Hyundai Hawk. Hyundai Hawk and Aston Park collided on the third turn checking Hyundai Hawk. Hyundai Hawk galloped on Poppy Jay on the home turn checking both greyhounds, Hyundai Hawk stumbled and raced wide.
Hyundai Hawk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injured right and left quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
