Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Take That Banksy.
Oh Lele Peter and Take That Banksy were slow to begin. King Of Sunshine and Oh Lele Peter collided approaching the first turn, checking Oh Lele Peter, which stumbled as a result. Kirabilli Lacey checked off Dovizioso on the first turn, checking Tekki Twist and Take That Banksy. Tekki Twist and Take That Banksy collided approaching the home turn. King Of Sunshine and Tekki Twist collided in the home straight. Kirabilli Lacey raced wide in the home straight.
Following the event Dovizioso collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound experienced a probable seizure and abrasions to the right back leg and a spike wound to the right front and back left legs.
Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Elmes, the trainer of Dovizioso and advised her that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Dovizioso must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
