Belena Jake was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, right monkey muscle and right chest muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. N. Partridge, the trainer of Belena Jake regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. 

A pre race sample was taken from Lister Bale. 

Smokester and Cash And Co collided approaching the first turn. Igor Karkaroff and Smokester collided on the first turn, checking Smokester, Cash And Co and Show Bag Carter, and severely checking Mepunga Ted. Cash And Co checked off Show Bag Carter on the home turn, checking Show Bag Carter. 

Following the event Igor Karkaroff collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound experienced a probable seizure. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. I Cockerell, the trainer of Igor Karkaroff and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Igor Karkaroff must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Call Me Daisy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left back leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Kirabilli Lacey checked off Dovizioso on the first turn, checking Tekki Twist and Take That Banksy. Tekki Twist and Take That Banksy collided approaching the home turn. King Of Sunshine and Tekki Twist collided in the home straight. Kirabilli Lacey raced wide in the home straight. 

Following the event Dovizioso collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound experienced a probable seizure and abrasions to the right back leg and a spike wound to the right front and back left legs. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Elmes, the trainer of Dovizioso and advised her that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Dovizioso must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
