Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Grand Slam Diva.
Golden Warrior and Allen Jeer were slow to begin. Grand Slam Diva and Maximum Bella collided soon after the start, checking Maximum Bella. Grand Slam Diva checked off Thanks Cheryl approaching the first turn. Grand Slam Diva and Red Hot Millie collided on the first turn, checking Grand Slam Diva. Golden Warrior, Barked Off and Allen Jeer collided on the first turn, checking Golden Warrior, Barked Off, Allen Jeer and Red Hot Millie. Red Hot Millie raced wide on the home turn.
Red Hot Millie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms Melissa Fullerton, the trainer of Quick Kisses regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Quick Kisses last raced on 11 September 2015. Ms Fullerton stated that Quick Kisses is returning to racing from a right monkey muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Quick Kisses trialled over the 410m from box eight, weight 27.5 kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.71, the greyhound was beaten a margin of four lenghts. Quick Kisses was Cleared.
