Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. K .Bailey, the trainer of Aeroplane Mick regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Aeroplane Mick last raced on 7th February 2016. Mr. Bailey stated that the greyhound was recovering from a fractured right tibula.
A pre race sample was taken from Hardaway Drifter.
Rock Lion and One More Des were quick to begin. Zamlee Magic, Yorgi Blues and Hardaway Drifter were slow to begin. Aeroplane Mick crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Erratic Lord. Erratic Lord and Zamlee Magic collided on the first turn, checking Erratic Lord. Zamlee Magic and Yorgi Blues collided on the first turn, checking Zamlee Magic. Zamlee Magic checked off Ninetymile Ace approaching the home turn. Zamlee Magic and Hardaway Drifter raced wide on the home turn. One More Ace tired over the concluding stages of the event.
One More Ace was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Ugursay, the trainer of the greyhound Hardaway Drifter. Stewards deemed the performance of Hardaway Drifter unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Hardaway Drifeter must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
