Quicksilver Hope and Respondent collided soon after the start checking Quicksilver Hope.  Itsa Secret, Hillside Lady, Greysynd Alpha and Bailey Boy collided soon after the start checking Hillside Lady, Bailey Boy and Respondent.  Itsa Secret checked off Greysynd Alpha approaching the first turn.  Bailey Boy faltered on the first turn and lost ground.  Itsa Secret checked off Hillside Lady approaching the home turn. Bailey Boy lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Bailey Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left & right monkey muscles, left shoulder, left stifle and left & right groin, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sixteen Bills was a late scratching at 6:38pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right hock injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Bumble Bee Bolto, Lainey's Fortune and Lucky Love were quick to begin.

Zippy Lynet checked off Sisco General approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Sisco General checked off Bumble Bee Bolto entering the home straight.  Lucky Love raced wide in the home straight.  Bumble Bee Bolto and Sisco General collided approaching the winning post.

Silky Strings was slow to begin.

Amour Baroque checked off Bonnie Beauty soon after the start.  Amour Baroque and Tanoan Creek collided on the first turn checking Amour Baroque, Tanoan Creek and Abergavenny.  Abergaveny and Silky Strings collided approaching the second turn.  Bonnie Beauty and Vostok collided approaching the home turn checking Bonnie Beauty and causing Abergavenny to race wide.  Bonnie Beauty and Silky Strings collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Silky Strings marred Lady Charlotte in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr M. Chillcott, the trainer of the greyhound Silky Strings regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Silky Strings with marring.  Mr Chillcott, pleaded guilty to the charge, Silky Strings was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound preform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Bonnie Beauty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
