Itsa Secret, Hillside Lady, Greysynd Alpha and Bailey Boy collided soon after the start checking Hillside Lady, Bailey Boy and Respondent. Itsa Secret checked off Greysynd Alpha approaching the first turn. Bailey Boy faltered on the first turn and lost ground. Itsa Secret checked off Hillside Lady approaching the home turn. Bailey Boy lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.
Bailey Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left & right monkey muscles, left shoulder, left stifle and left & right groin, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
