A pre-race sample was taken from Tinny Time.
Tinny Time was quick to begin. Early Thunder was slow to begin. Tekki Lightning, Fipa Middleton, Bob's Gift, Beluga Diamond, She's Got Dash and Boopa Doopa Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Fipa Middleton, Bob's Gift and She's Got Dash. Beluga Diamond checked off Boopa Doop Girl on the first turn. Tinny Time and Boopa Doop Girl collided approaching the home turn checking Tinny Time and Beluga Diamond. Tekki Lightning and Boopa Doop Girl collided on the home turn. Tinny Time and Bob's Gift collided on the home turn.
Tinny TIme was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions and a spike wound to its right hind leg (near achillies). A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
