Steward's Report

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Bailey, the trainer of Bye All regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bye All last raced on 27th January 2017. Mr. Bailey stated that Bye All was new to his kennels. Mr Bailey declared a new weight of 29.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bye All last raced at 31.5kg.

All Inn Layla was quick to begin. Gunfire Doll, Heroic Outlaw and Bye All soon after the start. Storm Of All and Gunfire Doll approaching the first turn. Little Bit Shiny, Bye All and Gunfire Doll collided on the first turn. Gold Attraction and Storm Of All collided approaching the home turn. Little Bit Shiny checked off Storm Of All approaching the home turn. Gunfire Doll and Heroic Outlaw collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Ain't No Hurry failed to pursue the lure with due commitment in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Murley, the trainer of the greyhound Ain't No Hurry regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Ain't No Hurry was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left dew claw, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Ain't No Hurry with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Murley pleaded guilty to the charge, Ain't No Hurry was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
