Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. H. Wetzels, the trainer of Two Pointover regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Two Pointover last raced on 9th February 2017. Mr. Wetzels stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after the greyhound being seasonal.
Destini Florida and Soeztec collided soon after the start and again on the first turn. Diyas, Pyramid Flyer and El Grand Pepe collided on the first turn checking El Grand Pepe. Diyas clipped the heels of Virgil approaching the home turn. Virgil and Pyramid Flyer collided approaching the winning post.

Trial 1
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ashton, the trainer of Mr. Agro regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Mr. Agro last raced on 30th November 2016. Mr. Ashton stated that the greyhound was returning from a right stopper injury. Mr. Ashton also declared a new weight of 30.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mr. Agro last raced at 32.5kg. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mr. Agro trialled over the 425mts from box 1, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24.47, the greyhound by was beaten a margin of 8.75L. Mr. Agro was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ashton, the trainer of Saintly Miss regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Saintly Miss last raced on 30th November 2016. Mr. Ashton stated that a right back muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Saintly Miss trialled over the 425mts from box 2 weight 27.5kgs, the greyhound fell and failed to finish. The time of the trial was 24.47, Saintly Miss was not cleared.
Saintly Miss was vetted following the satisfactory. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a concussion and a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Brianna Morgan trialled over the 425mts from box 3, weight 26.4kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24.47, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.75L. Brianna Morgan was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Miss Twerker trialled over the 425mts from box 5, weight 26.4kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24.47, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.75L. Miss Twerker was cleared.
Trial 2
Weight Trial (Solo) - Nero Joe trialled over the 425mts from box 2, weight 29.4kgs. The time of the trial was 24.72, Nero Joe was cleared.
Stewards spoke to trainer Ms J.Walker regarding the location of registration certificates for greyhounds which have recently left her care. Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry regarding her conduct towards Stewards and others in relation to the same matter.
