Text Me Tony was slow to begin. Sir Fancy was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Snow Mistake was checked off Dr. Luvdisc on the first turn. Kept In Suspense and Zipping Emma collided approaching the home turn. Dr. Luvdisc and Classy Gun collided on the hme turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. McKenzie the representative of Amelia Star regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Amelia Star last raced on 09/06/16. Mr. McKenzie stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right calf injury and a seasonal spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A Amelia Star trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 27.9kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.44 secs, the gryehound was beaten by a margin of 8.25 lengths. Amelia Star was cleared.

Coolgirl Miss trialled over 315 metres from box 6, weight 28.5kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.44 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a marging of 4.25 lengths. Coolgirl Miss was cleared.
