A pre race sample was taken from Holler At Me.
Lucky Andy and When And Where collided soon after the start. Classy Gun and Licorice Bullet collided approaching the first turn checking Licorice Bullet. Dreaming Dora, Licorice Bullet and When And Where collided approaching the first turn checking Holler At Me and severely checking Licorice Bullet. Holler At Me, When And Where and Dreaming Dora collided on the first turn checking When And Where and severely checking Dreaming Dora. Dreaming Dora crossed out approaching the home turn and raced wide. Sultan's Boy and When And Where collided approaching the home turn. When And Where collided and marred Sultan's Boy in the home straight severely checking Sultan's Boy.
Licorice Bullet was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
When And Where was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right front toe injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Fasoli, the handler of the greyhound When And Where regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged When And Where with marring. Mr. Fasoli pleaded guilty to the charge, When And Where was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
