Smart Maxwell and Valoshore were slow to begin. Smart Maxwell, Ocean Bay and Fascinated collided approaching the first turn. Valoshore and Olympic Lass collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Saint Fox and Good Yarn raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Fascinated and Good Yarn collided approaching the winning post.
Lektra Oscar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its left hind hock. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
