Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Casey trainer of Jam Lady regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races.  Jam Lady last raced on 25th January 2017.  Mr. Casey stated that the greyhund was resuming to racing after being on season.  Mr. B. Casey also declared a new weight of 28.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Lady Jam last raced at 26.7kgs.

Dreamtime Vision was quick to begin.  Blue And Cool, Just Banji and Shadow Bolt were slow to begin.  Riverdale Sugar, Quen Bale, Blue And Cool, Just Banji and Shadow Bolt collided approaching the first turn checking Blue And Cool, Just Banji and Shadow Bolt.  Jam Lady and Blue And Cool collided approaching the home turn.  Quen Bale and Riverdale Sugar collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Jam Lady and Just Banji collided in the home straight.

Belena Bold, Cavalry Rose and Brae's Bullet collided soon after the start checking Brae's Bullet.  Amigo One galloped on the heels of Cloona Magic on the first turn.  Cavalry Rose and Brae's Bullet collided on the home turn.  Cavalry Rose and Brae's Bullet raced wide on the home turn.  Amigo One and Cloona Magic collided entering the home straight.  Belena Bold raced wide in the home straight.
