A pre-race sample was taken from Suzy Nitro.
Boozetown Hound and Cosmic Kilby were slow to begin.
Cougar Stealth and Mister Blue collided approaching the first turn, checking Cougar Stealth. Guard Your Path crossed to the outside on the home turn and raced wide.
Pawesome Boss was vetted following the event after an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right wrist. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
