Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Bear's Gold upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Cosmic Act, Pantera Nera and Bear's Gold were quick to begin. Pippy Dippy, Zipping Arnold and Canya Touche collided approaching the first turn, checking Zipping Arnold which fell. Cosmic Act, Pantera Nera and Bear's Gold collided on the first turn, checking Pantera Nera, and severely checking Bear's Gold. Pantera Nera and Landmark collided on the first turn, checking Landmark. Cosmic Act raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Zipping Arnold was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Pantera Nera - the winner of the event.
