Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. L. Hall the trainer of Pawfection regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pawfection last raced on 09/02/17. Mrs. Hall stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a seasonal spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from King Mischief.
Pawfection was quick to begin.Pawfection crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Booma Mikado and Bandit Brad. Zipping Frank and Bandit Brad collided in the back straight checking King Mischief. Booma Mikado and Pawfection collided on the home turn checking Booma Mikado.
King Mischief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder joint, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Track Curator Mr. A. Inger advised Stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on 10/05/17.
