A pre-race sample was taken from Nifty Neville upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Nifty Neville was slow to begin.
He's Ma Bro, Van Damm and Paddles Anderson collided soon after the start. Kim Kadash and Shakey Jet collided soon after the start. Kim Kadash and Shakey Jet collided approaching the first turn checking Kim Kadash. Nifty Neville galloped on He's Ma Bro approaching the first turn, Nifty Neville subsequently fell. He's Ma Bro and Paddles Anderson collided on the first turn. Shakey Jet checked off Greenback Boogie approaching the third turn.
Nifty Neville was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle and left hind bruising injuries, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke with Mr A. Hunter and issued him a severe reprimand for failing to have his greyhound vetted and leaving the race course without steward’s permission. GAR 42(2).
