A pre-race sample was taken from Podium Babe.
Bob's Gift was quick to begin. Kev's Fantasy and Why Not Barrel were slow to begin.
Zipping Moss and Half Moon Rising collided on the first turn. Bob's Gift and Podium Babe collided on the first turn checking Bob's Gift, severely checking Scott Cosmic and Hit 'N' Split, Scott Cosmic fell as a result. Why Not Barrel checked off Bob's Gift approaching the home turn. Podium Babe and Zipping Moss collided entering the home straight.
Scott Cosmic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke with Mr K. Ward and reminded him of reasonability’s that he shouldn't attract the attention of any greyhound once they have been placed in the starting boxes. GAR 51(10)(c).
