A pre-race sample was taken from Too Fly.
Too Fly was quick to begin. Why Not Senor and Apila Cash were slow to begin.
Apila Cash hit the running rail on the first turn and stumbled as a result. Crystal Shell galloped on White Line Lass on the first turn checking Miss Oreo Mac, Crystal Shell, Miss Premier and severely checking White Line Lass and Too Fly. Miss Oreo Mac and White Line Lass approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Miss Oreo Mac and Too Fly collided on the home turn.
Apila Cash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
