Steward's Report
Onya Anna and Bundy Princess were quick to begin.
Just Run Left, Tomdor, Pretty Ribbons and Tally Ho Jack collided soon after the start checking Tomdor and Pretty Ribbons. Tomdor checked off Just Run Left severely checking Tomdor, Pretty Ribbons, Tally Ho Jack and Belisarius which all raced wide as a result. Bundy Princess eased in the home straight and collided with Just Run Left, checking Bundy Princess.
Bundy Princess was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer Mrs J. Torr declinded to have the greyhound revetted.
Stewards spoke to Mrs J. Torr, the trainer of the greyhound Bundy Princess regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Bundy Princess with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Torr pleaded guilty to the charge, Bundy Princess was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
