Steward's Report
Tactical Miss was a late scratching at 6:08pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Pursuant to GAR 104(7) Steward Miss D. Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Stewards spoke to Mrs J. Holden, the Trainer of Reen's Fabian regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Reen's Fabian last raced on 16th November 2015 and is returning to racing after suffering a front left tendon injury.
Booma Mikado was quick to begin. Reen's Fabian was slow to begin. Reen's Fabian faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Zipping Laura checked off Off The Hip on the home turn and raced wide. Bird Special raced wide in the home straight.
Reen's Fabian was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
