Steward's Report
Esparza was slow to begin. Quasi Bale and Lead Into Demise collided soon after the start. White Bandit and Kilkee Flex collided soon after the start. Edge Of Eden, Bubba's Silvia, Quasi Bale, Lead Into Demise and White Bandit collided on the first turn checking Esparza, Edge Of Eden, Bubba's Silva, Quasi Bale, Lead Into Demise and White Bandit. Esparza checked off Quasi Bale entering the front straight. Quasi Bale checked off Lead Into Demise entering the home straight checking Esparza.
Following the event Letron James displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound displayed clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria. No stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs A. Dailly, Trainer of Letron James and advised her that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.
