Yanong was slow to begin. Memphis Jookin' and Mepunga Joffa collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Yanong, Ikari Spark and Daphne's Party collided approaching the first turn. Memphis Jookin' checked off Mepunga Joffa approaching the first turn. Dr. Sherlock, Yanong, Ikari Spark, Daphne's Party and Mepunga Joffa collided on the first turn checking Ikari Spark, Daphne's Party, Memphis Jookin' and Mepunga Joffa. Memphis Jookin' checked off Ikari Spark approaching the second turn. Daphne's Party and Mepunga Joffa collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. He's So Good raced wide entering the back straight. Dr. Sherlock checked off Yanong on the third turn.
