Steward's Report

Just Dee Patient and Senni Mel were quick to begin. Sisco Fury was slow to begin.

Burn To Excel and Magic Of Beam collided approaching the first turn. Senni Mel and Burn To Excel collided approaching the first turn. Senni Mel, Burn To Excel and Magic Of Beam collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Segatashya eased approaching the home turn. Segatashya and Spa Jangles collided approaching the home turn. Hoss and Just Dee Patient collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Just Dee Patient became dislodged during the running of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A Peasnell, the trainer of the greyhound Segatashya. Segatashya was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left tricep. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Segatashya with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
