Kirabilli Syd was very slow to begin (5 lengths).
Claretown Oscar and Sharp Edge collided soon after the start. Kal Bale and Claretown Oscar collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Cosmic Black, Regal Diamonds and Claretown Oscar collided approaching the home turn checking Claretown Oscar. Cosmic Black raced wide in the home straight.
Kirabilli Syd was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right quadricep and left hind sesamoid. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
