Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Neocleous the representative of Irish Mobster regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Irish Mobster last raced on 16/12/16. Mrs. Neocleous stated that the greyhound was returning to racing follow a left front tendon injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Irish Mobster.
Soda Storm and Kiyoshi were slow to begin. Captain Cranky and Soda Storm collided soon after the start. Irish Mobster was checked off Text Me Tony approaching the first turn. Soda Storm and Irish Mobster collided approaching the home turn checking Irish Mobster.

Summer Kate trialled over 315 metres from box 8, weight 29.0kg, the greyhound was placed fourth, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.27 secs, the greyhound was tailed off. Summer Kate was not cleared. Summer Kate was vetted following the trial and found to have sustained an injured right semimembranous muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Sultan's Pride trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 31.0kg, the greyhound was placed second, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.27 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14.25 lengths. Sultan's Pride was cleared.
Special Mate trialled over 315 metres from box 3, weight 30.5kg, the greyhound was placed third, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.27 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 21 lenths. Special Mate was not cleared. Sultans Mate was vetted following the trial and no injury was apparent.
Screaming Oaks trialled over 395 metres from box 2, weight 28.3kg, the greyhound was placed second, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.02 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1 length. Screaming Oaks was cleared.
