Steward's Report
Allen Marky and Eaton Bale were slow to begin.
Waymore's Blues crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Hession Boots, Pagan Midnight, Ballerino and Eaton Bale. Irish Asteria, Irish Whip and Waymore's Blues collided on the first turn checking Irish Whip and severely checking Pagan Midnight and Eaton Bale and causing Irish Asteria to fall. Hession Boots and Ballerino collided on the second turn.
Irish Asteria was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a righ hind hock injury, a 21 day stand dow period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Hession Boots - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Borg regarding the direction that the greyhound Ballerino be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52 (2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
