Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Maverick Thunder upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Lektra Khan was slow to begin.
El Surrao and Maverick Thunder collided soon after the start. Snow matter, Dodgy Dede, Allen Terminator and El Surrao collided approaching the first turn checking Snow Matter. Snow Matter, El Surrao, Allen Terminator and Lektra Khan collided on the first turn checking Lektra Khan and severely checking Allen terminator. Snow Matter and Dodgy Dede collided on the home turn. Maverick Thunder and Blue Westmead collided in the home straight checking Blue Westmead.
Allen Terminator was vetted following the event. it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
