Pursuant to GAR 104(7) Steward Miss D. Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Jet Mikado was quick to begin. City Rambler and Heston Lodge were slow to begin. Addictive Riley and Cosmic Yap collided soon after the start. Heston lodge, Sonic Pirate and Addictive Riley collided on the first turn. Cosmic Yap and Sam Toocan collided on the first turn. Addictive Riley and Cosmic Yap collided approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Jet Mikado checked off Sam Toocan on the second turn. Addictive Riley, Cosmic Yap and Heston Lodge collided entering the back straight, severely checking Cosmic Yap.
Cosmic Yap was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
