Steward's Report

Kirabilli Rosie was slow to begin.  Arome Peche, Mariners Beach and Mahogany Diamond collided soon after the start checking Mariners Beach.  Arome Peche checked off Belena Jake approaching the first turn.  Noonbarra Joe, Kirabilli Rosie, Arome Peche and Mahogany Diamond collided approaching the first turn checking Kirabilli Rosie.  Kosmik King and Belena Jake collided on the first turn checking Belena Jake.  Belena Jake, Kirabilli Rosie and Mahogany Diamond collided approaching the home turn checking Mahogany Diamond which fell as a result.  Mariners Beach cramped and fell approaching the winning post.

Mariners Beach was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Curtain, the trainer of the greyhound Mariners Beach.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mahogany Diamond was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
