Jack Winter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right elbow and a laceration to its left hind toe.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Verdict, the winner of the event.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Le Grand Bleu and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11:18am  due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr.John Higgins was fined the sum of $100.

Mazing Moo was quick to begin.  Mepunga Tyler, Lacey's Lad and Baroque Up collided soon after the start checking Lacey's Lad.  Mazing Moo, Baron Lad and Lonnie Lad collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Mazing Moo and Baron Lad.  Saint Elite and Lonnie Lad collided in the home straight.

Swazza's Rocket was a late scratching at 11:35am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an elevated temperature. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mariners Beach was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Curtain, the trainer of the greyhound Mariners Beach.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mahogany Diamond was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Soxy was slow to begin.  Stolen Gem and Logic Lad collided approaching the first turn.  Stolen Gem, Logic Lad and Alchemist Quest collided on the first turn checking Stolen Gem.  Make Me Classy checked off Soxy on the first turn.  Soxy checked off Stumble on the first turn.  Stolen Gem and Wrecking Ralph collided approaching the home turn severely checking Wrecking Ralph which stumbed as a result.  Logic Lad checked off Make Me Classy on the home turn. Stolen Gem and Soxy collided in the home straight checking Soxy.  Make Me Classy checked off Alchemist Quest in the home straight.

Wrecking Ralph was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
