Steward's Report
Miss Kadia was a late scratching at 6:00pm due to weight variation, GAR 39. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr G. O'Keefe was fined the sum of $100.
Oriental Tsunami and Veetee Gun were slow to begin. Nessie Allen and Veetee Gun collided soon after the start checking Veetee Gun. Schooner Doll, Hard Bargain and Darpa Bale collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Schooner Doll and Veetee Gun. Darpa Bale, Hard Bargain and Nessie Allen collided on the first turn, severely checking Nessie Allen and Hard Bargain. Nessie Allen and Veetee Gun collided on the home turn.
Stewards noted the muzzle of Veetee Gun became dislodged during the running of the event.
Nessie Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstring and left groin, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Hard Bargin was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
