Miss Kadia was a late scratching at 6:00pm due to weight variation, GAR 39.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr G. O'Keefe was fined the sum of $100.

Oriental Tsunami and Veetee Gun were slow to begin.  Nessie Allen and Veetee Gun collided soon after the start checking Veetee Gun.  Schooner Doll, Hard Bargain and Darpa Bale collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Schooner Doll and Veetee Gun.  Darpa Bale, Hard Bargain and Nessie Allen collided on the first turn, severely checking Nessie Allen and Hard Bargain.  Nessie Allen and Veetee Gun collided on the home turn.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Veetee Gun became dislodged during the running of the event.

Nessie Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstring and left groin, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Letron James and Allen Impose were slow to begin.  Lektra Khan and Fizzy Bale collided soon after the start checking Lektra Khan.  Mighty Sam and Unlawful Entry collided soon after the start checking Unlawful Entry.  Fizzy Bale and Showtime Mystery collided on the first turn checking Mighty Sam, Showtime Mystery and Allen Impose, severely checking Letron James.  King Size Shambi and Showtime Mystery collided on the second turn checking Mighty Sam and Showtime Mystery.  Lektra Khan and Letron James collided on the third turn checking Letron James.  Mighty Sam and Allen Impose collided approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr T. Dailly, Handler of Letron James, regarding his late arrival at the kennels to retrieve the greyhound for racing.  Stewards charged Mr Dailly, pursuant to GAR 46(2).  Mr Dailly pleaded guilty to the offence and a fine of $100 was imposed.

Texas Tommy crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dyna Keitaro, Asa Flying Spur, Dyna Shinko, One Great Place, Quantum Bale and Dyna Krypto.  Quantum Bale checked off Asa Flying Spur on the second turn.  Dyna Shinko checked off Dyna Keitaro on the third turn.  Asa Flying Spur and Dyna Keitaro collided entering the home straight.

Zigstar was slow to begin.  Come At Me crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Waymore's Blues, Zigstar and Allen Journo.  Liam eased approaching the second turn and collided with Maximum Mak, checking Come At Me, Vanger Bale and Zigstar as a result.

Maximum Mak was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Liam was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr D. Burnett, Trainer of Liam.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the Stewards charged Liam with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Burnett pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Liam was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
