Kennelling time was extended by 15 minutes due to a traffic accident on the Monash Freeway.
An Out Of Competition Sample was taken from Time No Money engaged in this event on 3 March pursuant to GAR 79A. (Note: The greyhound was scratched from the event)
Barney Bubble and Kuta's Lad were slow to begin. Poker Date and Lektra Uncut collided soon after the start checking Lektra Uncut. Bracket Creep, Spring Bumblebee and Cactus Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Bumblebee. Barney Bubble and Kuta's Lad collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Uncut and Elite Shiraz collided approaching the second turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Bracket Creep and Poker Date collided approaching the third turn. Spring Bumblebee and Poker Date collided approaching the third turn.
