Same Day, Cashin' In, Master Tron and Dewana Babe were slow to begin.
Master Tron and Dewana Babe collided soon after the start checking Dewana Babe. Why Not Wayne crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Same Day, causing Cashin' In and Master Tron to fall and severely checking Dewana Babe with Cashin' In and Master Tron subsequently pulling up. Ivy Bale and Why Not Wayne collided on the third turn and again in the back straight. Why Not Wayne and Just A Dot collided approaching the winning post.
Cashin' In was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Master Tron was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left & right shoulder muscle and right fore toe injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
