J. Palma, trainer of Bingo Sally declared a new weight of 25.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bingo Sally last raced at 27.3kgs.

Fiery Chief was slow to begin.  Hawks Three Peat and Catalan Flyer collided soon after the start.  Chrysanthemum crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Fiery Chief, causing Fiery Chief raced wide as a result.  Tree Climber Liv crossed to the outside son after the start, checking Savio's Flyer, Brazen Fool, Bingo Sally and Chrysanthemum, causing Brazen Fool to race wide as a result.  Chrysanthemum crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark, checking Bingo Sally.  Tree Climber Liv and Catalan Flyer collided at the 150m mark.

Bingo Sally was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Selynya Flash, Chase's Chance and Daintree Alice were slow to begin.  Chase's Chance and Daintree Alice collided soon after the start.  Wot Price Flash and Lil Dishy collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark.  Brazen Escape and Chase's Chance collided approaching the 250m mark.  Selynya Flash checked off Brazen Escape at the 250m mark and crossed to the outside.  Daintree Alice and Brazen Escape collided approaching the 150m mark.  Shakey Benz and Wot Price Flash collided at the 50m mark.  Shakey Benz checked off Chase's Chance collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mrs J Baldwin, trainer of the greyhound Chili Delight and reminded her of her responsibilities to ensure she carries her licence at all times.

Luongo and Oh Watta Texan were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Shifty Joshua and Invictus Lawless collided soon after the start.  Behind The Mask checked off Wasabi Princess approaching the 300m mark.  Behind The Mask and Invictus Lawless collided at the 250m mark.  Behind The Mask galloped on the heels of Invictus Lawless approaching the 200m mark.  Wasabi Princess and Shifty Joshua collided at the 200m mark.  Luongo and Xavier Kelton collided several times from the 200m mark until the 150m mark, checking Luongo, Xavier Kelton, Oh Watta Texan and Chili Delight.  Wasabi Princess and Shifty Joshua collided approaching the 100m mark, checking both greyhounds.  Luongo checked off Oh Watta Texan at the 100m mark.

Runaway Ellie and Take The Chance were slow to begin.  Runaway Ellie crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Magic Mantle crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.  Shahadollar and Black Senor collided at the 200m mark, checking Shahadollar and severely checkong Black Senor.  Miner Rush and Rozehill Lucy collided at the 200m mark.  Take The Chance checked off Runaway Ellie approaching the 150m mark.  Miner Rush and Magic Mantle collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr W. Lambert, trainer of the greyhound Magic Mantle, which performed above market expectations. Mr Lambert stated that the dog had recovered from dropping its back muscle on two occasions and he was of the opinion that the greyhound had benefitted from returning to his kennel. Stewards noted the comments of Mr Lambert and directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.

Derby Girl and Ready Jet Go collided soon after the start.  Master Phelps, Derby Girl and Ready Jet Go collided approaching the 300m mark, checking Derby Girl, Ready Jet Go and Ringo Dingo.  Sunlit Cobber, Master Phelps and Derby Girl collided at the 300m mark.  Sunlit Cobber faltered approaching the 200m mark.  Master Phelps and Ringo Dingo collided approaching the 100m mark.  Derby Girl and Ready Jet Go collided approaching the winning post.

Sunlit Cobber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left back, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr M. Fearnley, trainer of the greyhound Rockon Audacious which had not raced since 6 November 2015. Mr Fearnley stated that the greyhound has recovered from a reoccurring hind toe injury.

A pre race sample was taken from Rockon Audacious.

Miss Belladonna was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Secret Society and Rockon Audacious were slow to begin.  Aerial Blitz and Secret Society collided soon after the start.  Tzar Norma and Secret Society collided at the 250m mark.  Cape Ability and Rockon Audacious collided at the 200m mark, checking Cape Ability.  Secret Society galloped on the heels of Cape Ability approaching the 250m mark.  Stately Kay and Enchanted lass collided approaching the 100m mark.

A sample was taken from Miss Belladonna - the winner of the event.

G Orr, was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card were produced for the greyhound I'm Pumped pursuant to GAR 33.

Deadly Clear was slow to begin.  Black Beard and Encee Eye Gibbs collided at the 250m mark, checking Black Beard.

Encee Eye Gibbs was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abraisions to the forehead.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to C Allen, handler of Deadly Clear regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound. Stewards issued Deadly Clear with a warning regarding boxing manners.

Paranoia, Black Mumbo and See Him Go were slow to begin.  Brazen Bull, Black Mumbo and See Him Go collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds.  Terrorizer and Campaspe Will collided soon after the start.  Paranoia and Black Mumbo collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Paranoia.  Brazen Bull and Terrorizer collided at the 200m mark.  Brazen Bull and Terrorizer collided at the 50m mark.

Daintree Teacake, Cullquin Bomber and Massive Com were slow to begin.  Massive Com checked off Annunaki at the 300m mark.  One More Tom checked off World Of Noise at the 200m mark, checking My Miss Polly.

S. Spoljaric, trainer of Parkfield Shower declared a new weight of 28.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Parkfield Shower last raced at 29.5kgs.

Stewrds spoke to Mr G. Barnsley, trainer of the greyhound Bar No Blue which had not raced since 14 October 2015. Mr Barnsley stated that the greyhound had been spelling. A new weight of 33.1 was declared for Bar No Blue in accordance with GAR 39(3). Bar No Blue last raced at 32.0.

Stewards spoke to catcher Mr B. Meachem and reminded of his responsibilities to ensure he carries his licence at all times.

Nancy Devoy and Hot And Lonesome were quick to begin.  Under Taker and Bar No Blue collided at the 300m mark.  Nancy Devoy checked off Hot And Lonesome at the 150m mark.  Roxy's Price checked off Hot And Lonesome at the 50m mark.

Stewards charged Mr W. McNeil with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Nancy Devoy. Mr. McNeil pleaded guilty to the charge. Mr. McNeil was found guilty and fined the sum of $100.
