Louie Neveelk, He's Some Love and He Shall Fred were slow to begin. Dr. Compulsion was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Coolan Boy and Becky Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Becky Bale. Noosa Jet, Coolan Boy and He's Some Love collided on the first turn checking Coolan Boy, He's Some Love and Louie Neveelk. Coolan Boy checked off He's Some Love on the second turn. He's Some Love and Noosa Jet collided entering the back straight checking He's Some Love. Noosa Jet and Coolan Boy collided on the third turn checking Coolan Boy with Noosa Jet falling as a result.
Noosa Jet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right deltoid injuries, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
