Yolk's Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Rich Value and Miss Shieka collided soon after the start. Storm Search checked off Zambora Caitlyn soon after the start. Storm Search checked off Louis Mini Girl on the first turn and collided with Rich Value and Miss Shieka, resulting in Rich Value being checked.

Unlocked was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Rizzocca and Poor Old Frank were slow to begin. Autocrat and Suspicious Col collided soon after the start. Quater To faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Autocrat and Maximum Jarvis approaching the first turn checking Maximum Jarvis. Suspicious Col, Maximum Jarvis, Poor Old Frank and Tally Ho Kate collided on the first turn checking Poor Old Frank which collided with Rizzocca. Suspicious Col, Lost Blue and Maximum Jarvis collided approaching the home turn. Poor Old Frank checked off Rizzocca approaching the home turn. Maximum Jarvis checked off Suspicious Col in the home straight.

Quarter To was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr G.Hunt, the trainer of Cudgee's Mila regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Cudgee's Myla last raced on 2 November 2016. Mr Hunt stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a left monkey muscle injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr ,C.Treherne, the trainer of Lektra Dizzy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lektra Dizzy last raced on 27 December 2016  Mr.Treherne stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell.

Sporto Brian was a late scratching at 3.18pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(external parasites). A zero day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Page Boy was slow to begin. Lektra Dizzy and Modern Value collided approaching the first turn checking Lektra Dizzy. Fantasy Skye checked off Cee Righty on the first turn. Cudgee's Myla checked off Fantasy Skye on the home turn. Fantasy Skye and Cudgee's Myla collided in the home straight checking Fantasy Skye. Cee Righty and Modern Value collided approaching the winning post.

Lektra Dizzy which tired in the home straight was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr J.Sharp, the trainer of Lektra Rival regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lektra Rival last raced on 23 December 2016. Mr Sharp stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.

A pre -race sample was taken from Spring Break.

Lektra Rival and Fast Freddie  collided soon after the start. Dancing Baroque, Fast Freddie and Lektra Rival collided approaching the first turn checking Fast Freddie. To The Choppar galloped on the heels of Lektra Rival on the first turn checking Lektra Rival, To The Choppar and Oddball Quick. Oddball Quick and Lektra Rival collided on the home turn.

Crackerjack Cam  was a late scratching at 3.20pm  on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to split webbing on left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fancy Bounce.

Cosmic Moments, Cosmic Goldie, Fancy Bounce, Merry Magic and Coopnarcha collided on the first turn checking Fancy Bounce and Pete's Timey and severely checking Coopnarcha and Merry Magic, Merry Magic fell as a result. Altesse checked off Cosmic Goldie on the home turn.

Merry Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Coopnarcha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right foreleg. No stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dan The Man trialled over  390 mtrs from box 1, weight 31.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 22.49, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.5L. The greyhounds trainer Mr K.Goodwin declared a new weight of 31.1kg  for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dan The Man last raced at 32.9kg..Dan The Man was cleared.
