Steward's Report
Pop's A Wizard was slow to begin. Pop's A Wizard checked off Race Roquette soon after the start. Harry's Hunni checked off Pillar Creek on the first turn. Race Roquette and Way Things Are collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Way Things Are and Harry's Hunni collided approaching the home turn checking Harry's Hunni and severely checking Way Things Are which tailed off as a result. All Liquored Up crossed to the rail in the home straight and checked off Pillar Creek as a result. Race Roquette and Pop's A Wizard collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Destini Ricardo and Fess Crockett collided several times approaching the winning post.
Destini Ricardo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mrs. J. Rinaldi, the representative of Destini Ricardo regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
Way Things Are was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
All Liquored Up was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. S. Melville, the trainer of All Liquored Up regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
