Steward's Report
Jocelyn Will Do and Super Sedan were quick to begin. Jumbuk Star was slow to begin.
Archer Eight underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Brad Sands regarding the racing manners of Archer Eight approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr Sands, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Jumbuk Star lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Archer Eight - the winner of the event.
