Chardy and Sudden Change were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Destroyer and Premier Zed collided approaching the first turn. Elite Ollie and Lilly Shan collided approaching the first turn. Lilly Shan, Premier Zed, Destroyer and Elite Ollie collided on the first turn, checking Elite Ollie and Saddle Tank. Premier Zed and Lilly Shan collided approaching the home turn. Saddle Tank and Elite Ollie collided approaching the home turn,and again on the home turn.
Chardy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound had an elevated temperature, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
