Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms D.Carr, the trainer of Drysdale Doll regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Drysdale Doll last raced on 21 October 2016. Ms Carr stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel. Ms Carr declared a new weight of 26.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Drysdale Doll last raced at 27.2kg.
A pre race sample was taken from Solar Mocha.
Allen Jake and Pictish Mark were slow to begin. Lynlea Jake and Alice Allen collided soon after the start. Allen Jake, Destini Scorcher, Redda and Lynlea Jake collided approaching the first turn, checking Destini Scorcher. Allen Jake, Redda and Lynlea Jake collided on the first turn, checking Lynlea Jake. Drysdale Doll and Solar Mocha collided approaching the home turn. Allen Jake and Redda collided approaching the home turn. Redda, Lynlea Jake and Destini Scorcher collided entering the home straight.
Redda was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
