Mr. A. Smedts, trainer of Ha Ha Gotcha declared a new weight of 30.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Ha Ha Gotcha last raced at 31.7kg.

Stewards spoke to Ms D.Carr, the trainer of Drysdale Doll regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Drysdale Doll last raced on 21 October 2016. Ms Carr stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel. Ms Carr declared a new weight of 26.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Drysdale Doll last raced at 27.2kg.

Allen Jake and Pictish Mark were slow to begin. Lynlea Jake and Alice Allen collided soon after the start. Lynlea Jiddy, Zebo Bale and Emio Bale were quick to begin. Allen Xander and Arabella Figg collided soon after the start. Hutch and Rampant Jack collided soon after the start. Rowchester Star and Lynlea Jiddy collided approaching the first turn. Emio Bale checked off Allen Xander on the first turn. Rowchester Star and Lynlea Jiddy collided approaching the home turn. Hutch checked off Emio Bale approaching the home turn. Hutch and Emio Bale collided on the home turn, causing Emio Bale to race wide. Arabella Figg, Lynlea Jiddy and Rampant Jack collided approaching the winning post. 

J. Bell trainer of Premier Zed declared a new weight of 33.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Premier Zed last raced at 32.8kg.

Sporto Brian and Baron Destini collided approaching the first turn. Brienne checked off To The Choppar on the first turn, checking Sporto Brian, Baron Destini, Cee Righty, Khaleesi Miss and Brienne. Sporto Brian checked off Poor Old Frank approaching the home turn. Cee Righty checked off Fantasy Skye on the home turn. Khaleesi Miss raced wide on the home turn. Cee Righty and Fantasy Skye collided approaching the winning post.

A sample was taken from To The Choppar - the winner of the event. 

Mr. D. Hammerstein trainer of All Noise declared a new weight of 36.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  All Noise last raced at 34.6kg.

Brindi Chopper, All Noise and Fast Freddie collided soon after the start, checking All Noise. Kaycee Sprinter, Brindi Chopper, Fast Freddie and Noosa Parade collided on the first turn, checking Brindi Chopper and Fast Freddie. All Noise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Gunfighter upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Robyn's Boy checked off Arcup Sarge soon after the start. July Allen and Kev's Fantasy collided approaching the first turn. Arcup Sarge and Lister Bale collided on the first turn. Gunfighter checked off July Allen on the first turn. Robyn's Boy raced wide on the home turn. Kev's Fantasy and Lister Bale collided approaching the winning post. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Fulton, the trainer of Missy's Creek regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Missy's Creek last raced on 26th September 2016. Mr. Fulton stated that the greyhound had been on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Missy's Creek trialled over the 450m from box four, weight 30.5kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.17, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.75 lengths. Missy's Creek was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Smedts, the trainer of Spring Break regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Spring Break last raced on 13th August 2016. Mr. Smedts stated that the greyhound had been on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Spring Break trialled over the 390m from box one, weight 27.8kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.79, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.75 lengths. Spring Break was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Lara's Lament trialled over the 390m from box eight, weight 26kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.79, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75 lengths. Lara's Lament was Not Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Miss Hodge trialled over the 450m from box two, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.17, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.5 lengths. Miss Hodge was Cleared.
