A pre race sample was taken from Urana Vee Eight.
Stewards established that Proven Chat turned in the boxes prior to box rise and took no competitive part in the event. Sincerely and Urana Vee Eight were slow to begin. Gunnadoo Law, Good Boy Oscar and Bolare collided soon after the start, checking Gunnadoo Law. Good Boy Oscar, Greysynd Ash and Sincerely collided approaching the first turn, checking Gunnadoo Law. Bolare, Good Boy Oscar and Sincerely collided on the first turn, checking Greysynd Ash. Urana Vee Eight, Bolare, Good Boy Oscar and Sincerely collided approaching the home turn. Urana Vee Eight and Good Boy Oscar collided entering the home straight.
