In accordance with the GRV heat policy, the kennel temperatures were recorded, 17.8.
Masked Belle and Anton Flash were slow to begin. Bloke's Advice went up with the lids at box rise. Janray Big Red and Stetson Ravin collided soon after the start. Janray Big Red lost ground on the first turn. Bloke's Advice galloped on the heels of Stetson Ravin approaching the home turn, checking Stetson Ravin.
Janray Big Red as vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right hind leg, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed.
Stetson Ravin was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left fore stopper pad and soreness to the right hind shin, a ten day stand down period was imposed.
Masked Belle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the thoraco-lumbar region and right back muscle, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed.
Steward's noted that the muzzle of Bloke's Advice became dislodged during the running of this event.
