Quen Bale and Lost Blue collided approaching the first turn, checking Quen Bale, Sergent Leo and Sweet Galo's. Trouble, Lost Blue and Zambora Krystal collided on the first turn, checking Lost Blue and Zambora Krystal. Sweet Galo's and Sisco Knight collided on the first turn, checking Sweet Galo's. Pippa's Pride and Swift Operator collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Pippa's Pride, which contacted the running rail, and lost considerable ground. 

Pippa's Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right fibula, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bageera was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Marge was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind stifle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Page Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Brakani was slow to begin. Golden Warrior checked off Josie Rumble soon after the start. Hogwarts Express, Flat Twin, Jack's Rainbow and Indi Allen collided soon after the start, checking Flat Twin.
