Steward's Report
Mr B Moles, trainer of Aston Lydia declared a new weight of 27.4 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Aston Lydia last raced at 25.5 kgs.
Aston Lydia and Malady Aubrey were quick to begin. Gospel Lass was slow to begin. Gospel Lass and Galloping Hope collided approaching the first turn checking Galloping Hope. Bright Eyed Girl checked off Sun Choice in the back straight checking Gospel Lass. Aston Lydia, Disco Diamond and Sun Choice collided on the second turn checking Aston Lydia and Disco Diamond.
Galloping Hope was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
