Nachos Gracias, Try Me and Lady Hook were slow to begin.  Nachos Gracias and Aston Sprite collided approaching the first turn.  About To Cry crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Aston Sprite.  Zeva Diva, Running Shadow and Topsy Turvy collided on the first turn checking Zeva Diva, Running Shadow and Try Me.  Zeva Diva, Running Shadow and Try Me collided in the back straight checking Running Shadow and Try Me.  Nachos Gracias and Lady Hook collided on the second turn checking Lady Hook and severely checking Nachos Gracias.  Running Shadow galloped on the heels of Nachos Gracias on the second turn checking Running Shadow and severely checking Nachos Gracias;  Nachos Gracias stumbled and lost considerable ground and checked Zeva Diva as a result.

Nachos Gracias was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lady Hook was vetted following the event after suffering a fit in the catching pen.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Mifsud, the trainer of Lady Hook regarding the incident in the catching pen.  Stewards informed Mrs. Mifsud that stewards will closely moniter Lady Hook in future events.
